Located in the departments of Lot-et-Garonne , Lot , Aveyron and Lozère in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie regions the Valley of Lot stretches from the Mende region in Lozère to the Garonne River at the level of Aiguillon in the heart of the
great Lot-et-Garonne region enhanced by sumptuous landscapes and rich and
diverse flora and fauna complemented by a heritage that one never tires of discovering.
It is while descending from Monségur with its radiant viewpoint that one catches sight of the Lot and its waterway
which reflects, like a mirror, the first signs of autumn expressed through romantic pastel colors on the foliage trees line
its banks and visiting this valley especially in autumn is a pure marvel because discover unique places imbued with
multiple colors very often preceded by morning mists that cover like a cloud the foothills of the valley and its fields

of castles such as Bonaguil and magnificently preserved villages as I would discover when starting my journey in Fumel, taking the time to stop near the bridge overlooking the Lot before reaching
Penne D'Agenais a great little town located further south, delightful in its s urroundings and architecture, with narrow streets dotted with brightly colored flowers leading down to the river, and as I would discover throughout my journey
in this radiant valley, the landscapes change, and when you follow the Lot and its particular configuration in the
Lot-et-Garonne river is enchanting, with its unique course that changes from village to village, a pleasure to follow and
observe whether from a bridge or from the road its winding edges in perfect harmony with nature expressed in its pure
form.Following the Valley Of Lot and exploring its parallel country roads is the very essence of the charm of our region and after passing the port of Penne, I arrive in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, a radiant city bursting with color, particularly because
of its brick cathedral like strolling through the streets of the old town adorned with ancient half-timbered houses, then
Join us in Pujols, an authentic medieval village with historical roots in Gaule, Rome, and Albigensian history before a
walk on the 13th century Old Bridge which overlooks the Lot accompanied by the jerky movements of the trout which I observe with interest in this pure and limpid water bathed in a gentle autumn sun.
