INDRE : IN THE LAND OF GEORGE SAND
When we visit France, particularly our regions and territories, we are always delighted to meet the men and women who live there against the backdrop of landscapes where
magical colors are often drawn at sunrise that accompany the flora and fauna and
nothing like a getaway to the land of George Sand in the departement of INDRE to
discover its beautifully preserved cultural and heritage that bear witness to our history.
A true land of inspiration located in the south-eastern part of the Indre department in the Centre Val De Loire region
The Country of George Sand positioned at controlled distances from other French departments in parallel with neighboring European countries, it has a varied and multiple configuration integrating natural places and spaces
welcoming and easy to access for getaways and stays enjoyed individually or with family and this shimmering. This territory that we never tire of discovering also has a magnificently preserved architectural heritage, a witness to our history that we encounter in

Cluis, Neuvy, Saint Sepulchre, Briantes, Aigurande or Crozon Sur Vauvre which we visit with pleasure while strolling
through their small streets dotted with brightly colored flowers complemented by typical shops decorated with local
traditions. Staying in the Land Of George Sand also means trails beaten to also discover the diversity of its cultural heritage in relation to the historical data of these unique places which are very popular with the public, especially
every year in September during the European Heritage Days which we find in particular in Nohant in the historic
residence of George Sand
who, alongside his local Berry connections and his Parisian friendships, stayed there for 41
years old and which we visit with pleasure in addition to its annex museum located in La Châtre before visiting another
place atypical made famous by
the filming in 1947 of the film "Jour De Fête" by director Jacques Tati which gave the
village of Sainte Sévère Sur Indre its cinematographic and cultural letters of nobility
that it is pleasant to discover in
the house from the film "Jour De Fête" in the same way as the majestic Basilica of Neuvy Saint Sépulchre, listed as a
UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the frescoes of the Romanesque church of Saint Martin De Vic which are
delightful by their sizes and their particularities before strolling in the romantic gardens and the natural spaces
decorated of a rich and diverse flora and fauna, tinged with scents and multiple colors.
