HOT AIR BALLOONS FLIGHTS ABOVE THE ISERE

The diversity of sporting activities offered in the different regions of France is also a way to discover them particularly from the air and what could be more attractive to discovering the department of Isère located in the AUVERGNE

RHONE ALPES region as part of flights in hot air balloons which will give you

the opportunity to admire its radiant landscapes enhanced by a rich and great heritage that bears witness to our history.

Active sport hot air ballooning has been practiced since the 18th century which is a sport practice initiated in the 19th century by Joseph Michel and Jacques Etienne Montgolfier in 1782 and flying above the air with a hot air balloon. A hot air balloon is an aerostat consist of a basket for some passengers and operational equipment often made of wicker or rattan, and a plywood floor allows for the boarding of two or else three people , in addition to supply cylinders with the basket typically measures 1.15 meters high, 1.20 meters long, and 1.10 meters wide. The envelope is made of nylon or polyester fabric coated with polyurethane or silicone and protects against special rays and reducing the rate of hot air leakage . the whole including a big shape that is either very smooth or lobed in parallel with the spindles are also sewn

together , and this essential element fills with hot air , allowing it to maintain its movements through what is known as Archimedes' principle. incorporating the density difference between the hot air located inside the envelope in addition

to the ambient air , requires temperature control of the air , necessitating the use of a burner heating supported by 4

rods and located on the nacelle situated under the mouth of the envelope just above the passengers and delivering a

long flame ranging from 3 to 6 meters in length, in parallel with options which they whether single or double allowing

the pilot greater responsiveness by potentially having with heating power ensuring a much faster ascent with flights

with dual heating power ensuring a much faster ascent with flights of typical duration of about an hour preceded by the

inflation of the hot air balloon which delights the passengers in parallel with the explanations of the pilot before the rise in power then the discovery by air of places often all as enchanting as each other which one never tires of flying over.

A Good Sensation of Adrenaline Rush

Once you've boarded the hot air balloon and reached altitude comes the most thrilling and also the most exciting part

is the flight , which often provides a good sensation of adrenaline sought by the pilot and passengers and provided by

the acceleration of departure incorporating the temperature rise inside the envelope , complemented by the trajectory changes and the corresponding sensations of the air, and in the landing phase, the pilot then reduces aerostatic lift in

order to generate a controlled descent followed by landing on suitable terrain under optimal safety conditions. Taking

taking into account the the diversity of places and landscapes in the Isère department, the views from the air in good

weather that above the cities of Grenoble or Villard-de-Lans , in the territory of Saint-Marcellin-du-Vercors , or in the Chartreuse massifs like Belledonne, or along the Grésivaudan valley, the views are radiant alongside the discovery of

the heritage which is imposing and majestic which one has the pleasure of admiring by flying over in particular the castles of Bressieux such as that of Vizille as well as authentic villages such as Saint Antoine L'Abbaye with its abbey church or Pont en Royans with its famous hanging houses also completed through group formations with other hot air

balloons, sometimes accompanied by very strange sensations that give a dimension of total freedom by allowing some

movements with slight illusion " The aim is to dominate the landscapes that unfold before you," Catherine LECOINTRE

and Jean François LENGLET tell me who are two experienced pilots also members of the French Ballooning Federation. Contemplating the Isère region from the air in a hot air balloon is an original way to discover it and admire both the beauty of its landscapes and the richness of its heritage and this type of activity is very popular and continues to grow

in popularity developing it is also a great asset for discovering our radiant territories from a different perspective.
